Custom production tailored to meet the needs of food companies is a large part of e* Poly Star’s production and we are always looking to reduce costs to existing customers by running test runs of gauge reduced high performance samples for them to evaluate as we have co-extruded products that easily reduce film thicknesses and costs. Saving money for our customers is a key effort for e* Poly Star and we do it in such a way as to create a savings and yet have no sacrifice of performance. After all, if we are familiar with your application as an existing customer, it places us in a good position to know how to create a material specification that is often a serious cost savings with identical performance features.

The Food & Beverage Industry uses our high-strength shrink bundling film as a case over wrap on their automated shrink film equipment. e* Poly Star shrink films are designed to operate smoothly on automated equipment, seal easily and shrink fast with a low amount of heat reducing energy costs for the customer. Our films are run as a biaxially oriented shrink film allowing a determined shrink ratio to create a very secure and durable one-way package. We produce shrink bundling films in a standard line and a high clarity line as well. The standard clarity is perfect for food and beverage as it is utilized as a protective barrier keeping food and beverage products clean and yet allows the user of the film and the product it wraps to see the contents. High clarity bundling films are typically used in applications where a point-of-purchase display is utilized. The high clarity films are brilliant and clear making the product inside crystal clear to the consumer.
