Applications in the automotive industry are far ranging as automobile manufacturing and fuel economy become more and more of a concern these days. e* Poly Star films are used as a barrier films in head liners, sound dampening applications. The automotive industry also uses a wide variety of bags to package OEM parts headed to assembly plants.

e* Poly Star has also been cited as a prime source for automotive masking films for the paints and coatings industry. Poly Star produces fine quality light gauge films for masking that have the characteristic of being cost effective and yet being a very tough film that can readily take a masking tape adhesive product. These films are a pin-hole free co-extrusion which allows us to produce light gauge disposable films for this application that has outstanding performance characteristics.
